What to expect:
When you request an information packet from us, you will be sent a cover letter, a two-page
wedding reception planner, and a service agreement. Should you choose to use our
services, simply sign and return the service agreement with your deposit, and your date will
be locked in. Approximately one month prior to your wedding date, you will be called to set
up a time to go over the wedding reception planner. The reception planner is simply for
your convenience, and ours. This will help to ensure nothing is left out, and aid us in
making announcements as well as introductions. It will contain information such as, do you
want your first dance before dinner or after dinner? What song would you like played during
this time? Will there be a bouquet and garter toss? Who is in the wedding party? Who is
going to be giving toasts.? It is important to remember that any of the information on this
reception planner can be changed at any time, even up to the last minute. We are very
flexible to meet each and every need of our client.
On the day of your Wedding, Dance-Trax will arrive approximately 2 hours prior to the time
your guests will start arriving. This will give us time to setup our equipment, do a sound
check, and start some background music. We will then meet with the caterer and reception
site personnel to make sure they have the same information we do. Your Disc Jockey(s) will
be wearing a tuxedo as the standard attire, unless you have another wish. Your disc jockey
will greet you and introduce him or herself when you arrive, and quickly go over some of the
infomation on the reception planner. He or she will place everyone in order for introductions
into the room. Your disk jockey will check with you and make sure you are prepared when it
comes time to things such as the toasts, dances, bouquet and garter tosses, etc. You will
also be checked with a couple of times throughout the evening just to make sure things are
going as you wish (volume level, etc.), and see if you have any requests.
